John David Rocke was born this morning, July 22nd, at 6:15 am. He weighed in at 8 lbs. and measured 21 inches long. We plan on calling him "Jack," but we'll see what seems to suit him.

Jack was incredibly active in the womb. He kicked all the time, and he came out very alert.
It's not easy to tell from this picture, but Jack has quite a conehead right now. He's already wanting to follow in the footsteps of his big brother Calvin - the labor was remarkably similar, unfortunately. We got to the hospital in the late afternoon with both boys. Kelly started pushing in the early morning with both boys and pushed for 3 hours with each. Both of them decided that they had no interest in coming out any way but a c-section..JPG)
Kelly and I are pretty tired, but really thankful for a safe delivery.
KELLY!!! Jack looks so PRECIOUS!!!! I can't believe how fast time went :) We need to talk sometime when you are available, so CALL MEEE!!! I hope You, Dan, CJ, and Jack are doing fine :) Luv ya!

Congratulations!!!! He is beautiful! In the picture with Dan I think he looks a lot like Cal. We send love and prayers for rest and recovery and lots of wonderful new family moments...
